Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the site, Vercel automatically processes data transmitted by your browser and stores it in so-called server log files:
- IP address
- date and time of the request
- page or file requested
- referrer URL (the page visited before)
- browser type, operating system and device (user agent)
This is necessary to deliver the website, keep it running reliably and protect it against misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in a secure and functioning website. Vercel processes the data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of data protection for transfers to the USA (Art. 45 GDPR). More information:Vercel's privacy policy.
Images and videos
We manage the content of this website in the content management system Sanity (Sanity AS, Oslo, Norway). Images and videos are delivered via its content delivery network (cdn.sanity.io). For technical reasons, your IP address is transmitted to Sanity or its CDN service providers so that the files can be sent to your browser. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a fast, reliable display of the website. Where data is transferred to the USA in the process, this takes place on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. More information:Sanity's privacy policy.
Fonts
The fonts on this website are stored on our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or other font providers is established when the site loads.
Cookies and local storage
We do not set any cookies. When you move between pages, your browser at most briefly remembers which section to scroll to (in so-called session storage). This entry contains no personal data, does not leave your browser and is deleted as soon as you close the tab. It is strictly necessary for the site to function (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).
Contact by email and contact form
When you submit the contact form, your details (name, email address, optionally company and budget, and your message) are transmitted in encrypted form to our hosting provider Vercel (see “Hosting”) and forwarded from there, without being stored, as an email to our mailbox. Our mailbox is hosted by mailbox.org (Heinlein Hosting GmbH, Schwedter Str. 8/9a, 10119 Berlin, Germany), where the message is stored like any other email sent to us.
If you write to us via the form or by email, or call us, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, company, budget and your message) in order to answer your inquiry and prepare a possible project. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your inquiry is aimed at a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our interest in answering inquiries). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed for this purpose, unless statutory retention obligations (for example under commercial or tax law) prevent this.
